Lifeguards provide a safe, clean enviornment for members and guests entering the Columbine Knolls pool.  Training available for qualified applicants.  Ability  to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 6am-10pm, including weekends and holidays.

Duties

• Safeguards guests in and around the pool area
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care 
• Maintain cleanliness of facility and grounds
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Teach group swim lessons
• Administer First Aid
• Provide excellent customer experience

Prerequisites 

Must be at least 15 years  old,  able to swim 200 meters freestyle or breaststroke, treadwater for 2 minutes, retrieve a 10lb object from the bottom of the pool ,and display the maturity needed for the position

Qualities

Requires excellent communication,teamwork, adaptability, and confidence. 

Hourly Rate

$16.00-$17.50 DOE

An entry level program for youth 13 & 14 years of age who love swimming and hanging out with their friends at the pool.  Interns will work alongside lifeguards assisting with the swim lesson program and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.  Interns must be available to work a minimum of 4 weeks Monday thru Thursday between 9am-Noon.
